Worked extremely well removing the winter coat from my beagle mix. I have also seen a big reduction in the amount of shedding around the house. I could not believe how much hair it removed. I would highly recommend this product for medium coat dogs.
This product works wonders on both my dogs and cat. I have both short hair and medium hair pets and it does a great job on getting out the undercoat. Over the years many different types of combs and brushes have been purchased and none of them worked as well as this.
When I got it first time I could not belive it. For long hair animals it's just perfect. It works great and it's realy easy to use. I Highly recommend to any one to try it.
This prodict is more effective than promised. If you have any kind of shedding go for this. The example on their website does not over state what it does. Beware it is alot of work at first as the hair just keeps on coming.
My folks use the medium on their 2 dogs as well (80 lbs and 50 lbs). If your dog has a substantial undercoat, this is the finest de-shedding tool on the market. They rave about it just as I do. NEVER have I used a more useful grooming tool.
The FURminator works exactly as shown in pictures and commercials. My dogs are 90 lbs. My 2 dogs loved getting brushed and now are much more prepared for our 100+ degree summers. I have 2 large German Shepherds, 1 with long hair, the other with shorter.
Be prepared to pick up A LOT of hair off your lawn- I wouldn't recommend using the FURminator inside- way too messy. each but I ordered the medium size tool and it worked perfectly. Hands down.
